So, as we see, all of you have ambitions. And it’s
pleasant to hear that you know what to do to make your plans come true.

Now, I want to tell you the aims of our class.
We are to revise three types
conditionals and try to use them in our everyday speech.
Also we’ll do some exercises
today and check your knowledge with the help of computer.

First, I want you to choose a card with a situation
that may happen to you one day. Think a little and then ask and answer
questions about what you would do in each of the following situations. You
are to work one by one.

Fine. But all these situations refer to the present
or future.
·
But sometimes we regret that smth happened or didn’t
happen in the past.
·
Now, I want you to read the following newspaper
headlines and make a conditional sentence for each.
·
Thank you! You are right.
·
Look at the screen once again. What can you see?
·
Right. It’s the "Titanic”. Read the story about that
luxurious liner and say on what conditions the crash could be prevented.
·
Fine! Thank you!

We are sailing.
·
Suddenly our liner hit an iceberg.
·
Run onto the deck. Hurry up, please.
·
Oh! Look high in the sky. There is a plane looking
for us.
·
Let’s wave our hands for the plane to see us.
·
God Gracious! We are finally saved! Clap your hands
now and take your seats on board of a rescue plane.

Let’s work in pairs now. Each pair will get the
mixed part of conditional sentences. Match them and present the results to
the class.

We are doing this to see if you are ready for the
final test on the computer.

And, what mark you will be given by the computer
after doing a test do you think.

mistakes of the group.
